Kari Lowe

Over the weekend I photographed Kari Lowe from Oakridge High School.  She's quite athletic and was fun to photograph.  We're planning on doing an outdoor photo shoot in the spring which I'm really looking forward too. Good luck in the rest of the basketball season!

 

beginning photography class update

maddie

this is my friend's daughter maddie. she has been wanting to come over for a "photo shoot". after we took a few pictures in her clothes we thought it would be fun to put her in an old wedding wedding dress--she wasn't enthused!!!

all the kids at daycare wanted their pictures taken, some only lasted a few takes, others we had to drag off !! it's a nice thing to have all these adorable models always willing to say "cheese"

beginning photography classes

I've had many people say to me that they would love for me to teach a photography class, so I finally broke down and decided to do it.  The class will consist of two, two hour classes which will be held at our house.  The first class will be on Sunday February 7th from 6pm to 8pm,  and the second class will be held on Saturday February the 13th from 6pm to 8pm.  The fee for the two classes will be $50 per person, and I'm only accepting 10 people for the class on a first come first serve basis.  You will also need to bring your camera, preferably a camera that can be set to manual mode.  You can contact me at 231-288-8223 or email me at haasphotography@mac.com.

hanna and the new chair

we went to a few antique stores a couple weeks ago, i found two beautiful tiny chairs. since hanna is ALWAYS ready to pose, and since she is so cute she was my model for the day

While the kids were playing, it's fun to sneak around and get those surprised shots.  This is of Hannah, she's kinda shy and I had to have a plan to catch her unexpectedly.

hanna is a little girl I watch. she is so sweet and very shy.  she really didn't want to smile, but I got a few out of her!!!

morgan and carleigh new years eve

Dina and I spent new years eve with the family which included my sister and her 4 kids, and my brother and his two kids, and a few other family members.  My sister's two oldest girls are growing so fast, I thought we'd get some pictures of them while they're still happy to pose for me.  We had fun, Morgan's ready for another session already.

Sydney

Sydney is Dina's daughter and soon to be model.  We're going to use her to test some ideas and dress her up in some fun new props.  She doesn't know this yet, I hope she doesn't read this:)

Corbin

Corbin just wasn't in the mood to be photographed today.  Usually he's full of tatoos, you can see one thats fading away on his arm.

Cooper

Cooper is another one of Dina's daycare kids, he has the best hair ever.  I loved the somber feeling of this shot.

Tyler

Tyler is a boy in Dina's daycare who is always fun to photograph.  He loves getting his pictures taken and does all the faces a photographer could ever want to direct without directing.  While shopping over the weekend, looking for props that would be fun for kids I came across this halloween mask of our previous Pres, good ole George the 1st.  Had to get it!  Priceless!

Here are a few shots from a shoot we did of my best friends girls, we did a dress up day where they brought all the clothes they wanted and picked out some backgrounds and let the girls do the rest.  It's so funny to see how girls, even at their age are into getting their pictures taken.
